"Welcome back! The new
season is upon us again and we look forward to another
exciting year throughout the club both and off the field.
The
Senior fixtures are posted on the website but I would
like to bring to your attention the first VP's Day for the
season which will take place on Saturday 18th September when
the 1st XV play Ilkeston at home, K.O. 3pm. The day will
commence at 1:30pm with a VP's luncheon and whilst
invitation letters will be arriving on your doorstep
shortly, I wanted to give you a heads up on this now. The
cost of the luncheon is £10 per head, (we expect to provide
another complementary luncheon again later in the season)
and hope to see as many of our VP's along as possible to
support the 1st XV in this years campaign. We are expecting
to host the NLD President on this day too, who will be
presenting the club with a prestigious award from last
season.
Please note in your
forthcoming letter we will be including a new Standing Order
form for those of you that wish to use this method for
donations, but note this is for the clubs new bank account.
